What is the difference between ovarian cyst and accessory cyst?

Adnexal cyst refers to the cyst tissue that occurs in the ovary and fallopian tube, while ovarian cyst only occurs in the cyst area of the ovary. In comparison, the adnexal cyst area is larger. Ovarian cyst is mostly caused by physiological reasons, while adnexal cyst may be caused by hydrosalpinx, tubal adhesion and other reasons.
