What is primary myelofibrosis?

Primary myelofibrosis is a malignant clonal disease of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells and a myeloproliferative tumor. In the early stages of the disease, patients are usually characterized by splenomegaly and myeloproliferation. once diagnosed, active treatment should be given to maximize the life span of patients.
