Is the left adrenal nodule definitely a tumor

Adrenal nodules are not necessarily tumors. Adrenal gland is an important endocrine tissue in human body, and adrenal nodules are abnormal hyperplasia found in adrenal gland area. This phenomenon may be related to many factors. If there is pheochromocytoma, malignant tumor, etc., it may form space-occupying lesions in adrenal gland, resulting in local nodules found in imaging examination. However, in addition to tumors, non-neoplastic inflammatory diseases, such as adrenal inflammation, may also lead to focal thickening or nodular changes;

Adrenal cysts may also show nodules on imaging. Therefore, left adrenal nodules are not necessarily tumors.
