Folic acid tablets contraindications: Folic acid is a water-soluble vitamin, also known as vitamin B9. Folic acid is one of the indispensable vitamins for the growth and reproduction of body cells. Folic acid deficiency can affect the normal physiological activities of the human body. Folic acid deficiency is associated with neural tube defects, megaloblastic anemia, cleft lip and palate, depression, tumors and other diseases. Folic acid is widely distributed in green leafy plants, such as spinach, beets, and cabbage. Folic acid tablets are a synthetic vitamin that can be used to prevent congenital neural tube defects in fetuses, as well as pregnancy and lactation. Note that patients who are allergic to this product should not use it. Some patients may show gastrointestinal symptoms such as fear of eating, nausea, and abdominal distension. When taking folic acid in large quantities, urine may appear yellow. If taking other multivitamins containing folic acid, consult a doctor and take them strictly according to usage and dosage.
