Cervical transformation zone type 3 biopsy nothing to do

The cervical transformation zone under colposcopy is generally divided into three types. Type 1 refers to cervical vinegar white epithelium completely located outside the cervical canal, can be seen. Type 2 refers to cervical vinegar white epithelium part of the cervical canal, but can be exposed. Type 3 refers to cervical vinegar white epithelium deep into the cervical canal, can not be fully displayed. Therefore, the transformation zone 3, cervical biopsy under colposcopy is often not very accurate, there is a possibility of missing cervical lesions. For type 3 transformation zone, biopsy is fine, combined with the previous TCT cytological results to determine. If the TCT test results are high-grade lesions, then often need to supplement cervical conization, conization after pathology examination, to prevent missing high-grade lesions in the cervical canal, or even early invasive cancer. If the previous TCT indicates low-grade lesions, follow-up observation, if HPV positive, can be given anti-HPV drug treatment.
