Is cervical hypertrophy serious?

Cervical hypertrophy is not serious and does not require special treatment. Cervical precancerous lesions and endogenous cervical cancer may also be manifested as macroscopic cervical hypertrophy. Cervical hypertrophy caused by precancerous lesions and cervical cancer is more serious and requires surgery. After cervical TCT and HPV screening, cervical biopsy under colposcopy can often diagnose the presence of precancerous lesions and cervical cancer.
