What are the common symptoms of cerebral infarction?

The symptoms of cerebral infarction are related to the location and extent of the infarction. If the infarction is in the frontal lobe or temporal lobe, it may show mental symptoms and slow reaction. If the infarction is in the internal capsule, it may show severe hemiplegia, hemiblindness and some sensory disorders. If the infarction is in other parts of the brain, it may show partial hemiplegia and speech dysfunction. If the infarction is in the occipital lobe, it may show abnormal vision. If the infarction is in the cerebellum, it will show dizziness, unsteady walking, dysarthria. If it is a large cerebral infarction, it will show coma.
