Brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) examination is an objective indicator of sensitive brainstem injury, which can objectively and sensitively reflect the function of central nervous system. BAEP can record the nerve impulse caused by acoustic stimulation and the injury caused by brainstem hearing, which can further predict the function of brainstem. It is suggested that more attention should be paid to protecting blood vessels, low-salt and low-fat diet, secondary prevention, monitoring blood pressure, blood lipids and blood sugar, which can improve brain function and reduce brain stem damage.
