The function of the right frontal lobe

The right frontal lobe of the brain is associated with thinking, judgment, memory, analysis, manipulation, mental, language, and voluntary movement; the frontal lobe is associated with higher cortical activities such as mental, memory, judgment, and thinking abilities, and if the frontal lobe is damaged, these functions may also be impaired; the motor language center is located in the posterior part of the inferior frontal gyrus of the dominant hemisphere; if the posterior part of the inferior frontal gyrus is damaged, the patient may exhibit motor aphasia. Cortical motor dysfunction may occur in frontal lobe damage, because this functional area is located in the precentral gyrus and governs contralateral voluntary movement; if frontal lobe damage occurs, it may lead to motor dysfunction, and it is also easy to show ataxia and dysgraphia.
