Cerebellar ataxia

Cerebellar ataxia is characterized by a disorder of balance, gait and posture, instability in standing, a staggered gait, and a gait with legs separated in a supply-dysfunctional manner. Cerebellar ataxia also manifests as speech disorders, eye movement disorders, and slurred articulation, nystagmus, decreased muscle tone, and weakened tendon reflexes, respectively.
