How long does prostate surgery require hospitalization?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Prostate surgery requires about 3-10 days of hospitalization. Details are as follows:
If the patient is undergoing minimally invasive surgery, such as transurethral resection of the prostate or enucleation of the prostate, the surgical trauma is small and the postoperative recovery is fast. Usually, the patient needs to stay in hospital for 3-5 days. If the patient is undergoing more complex surgery, such as radical prostatectomy, the surgical trauma is large and the postoperative recovery is slow. The patient may need to stay in hospital for 7-10 days.
If the patient has other underlying diseases, is older, or has complications such as infection and bleeding after surgery, the hospital stay may also be prolonged.
