Twelve pairs of cranial nerves mainly include olfactory nerve, oculomotor nerve, optic nerve, trochlear nerve, trigeminal nerve, abducent nerve, facial nerve, auditory nerve, glossopharyngeal nerve, vagus nerve, accessory nerve and hypoglossal nerve. In clinical practice, 12 pairs of cranial nerves belong to the peripheral nervous system of the brain, also known as cranial nerve. Among them, olfactory nerve, optic nerve and auditory nerve belong to sensory nerve. The oculomotor nerve, trochlear nerve, abducent nerve, accessory nerve, and hypoglossal nerve are motor nerves.
