Symptoms of central nervous system damage

When the central nervous system of the brain is damaged, it can show headache, nausea, vomiting, sensory disturbance of limbs, motor disorder, dizziness, balance disorder and ataxia. In severe cases, it may present as a disturbance of consciousness, which may be somnolence, lethargy, coma, confusion, delirium, de-cortical and vegetative states, seizures, or psychiatric symptoms, depending on the location and size of the lesion.
