What causes abnormal brain discharge?

Healing hearts, healing lives.
Abnormal brain discharge can cause paroxysmal neuralgia clinically. If abnormal brain discharge shows high synchronization activity, it can be manifested as epileptic seizures. Repeated seizures can be diagnosed as epilepsy. For epilepsy, EEG can be checked clinically to determine the type of epilepsy, and drugs can be given orally according to the type of epilepsy. Clinically, oral drugs, such as sodium valproate, carbamazepine, and phenytoin, are mainly used to treat seizures. Epilepsy may be caused by a disorder of cortical development, by genetic mutations during pregnancy, or by fetal abnormalities. Epilepsy may also be secondary to brain tumors, especially temporal lobe lesions. Patients may exhibit seizures and brain trauma, or cerebral hemorrhage. Patients may also exhibit seizures in intracranial infections.
