The recovery time of neck fracture varies from person to person.

Due to strong healing ability, the recovery time may be shorter. However, if the fracture of bone neck is serious, the fracture end is obviously displaced, even comminuted fracture occurs, usually surgery is needed for treatment, and the recovery time after operation is relatively long, which may take about 6 months, especially for elderly patients, fracture nonunion may occur.
