Causes of ovarian teratoma formation

Ovarian teratomas are caused by genetic, congenital defects, endocrine abnormalities, etc.

1. Genetic

patients with family members suffering from teratomas or their own Klinefelter syndrome, Turner syndrome and other genetic diseases may cause ovarian teratomas.

2. Congenital

defects in the central nervous system or the presence of urethral, genital development defects may also cause ovarian teratomas.

3. Endocrine abnormalities in patients with

hypothalamic, pituitary, ovarian dysfunction or long-term abuse of hormone drugs may also lead to endocrine abnormalities caused by ovarian teratomas.
