Acute patellar dislocation includes simple patellar dislocation and patellar dislocation accompanied by fracture of other parts. Clinically, it is mainly due to the sudden strong contraction of quadriceps femoris caused by direct or indirect violence on patellar, resulting in knee joint dysfunction. Clinical symptoms are mainly manifested as local pain and swelling of knee joint. If patellar is not reset, knee joint will show obvious deformity, surrounding skin shows ecchymosis, flexion and extension activities are limited. Most of the affected limbs are in flexion position and cannot be straightened. It is usually accompanied by knee ligament injury. Clinically, manual reduction and fixation are mainly adopted, and patients with knee fractures in other parts should be treated with acute surgery. If the patient still shows patellar dislocation symptoms after knee pain treatment, patellar surgery under arthroscopy can be performed.
