How to tell if a child has an acute rash

An infant rash is a rash that appears three to five days after a fever has gone down. Doctors can diagnose an infant rash by its characteristics. It starts on the neck and trunk and spreads to the face and limbs. The rash can last for hours or days and subsides without a trace. It usually resolves without special treatment.
