Children with nephrotic syndrome with prednisone What's going on

Healing with hope, guiding with care.
Nephrotic syndrome is a disease associated with immunity. This disease is caused by a large loss of protein through the kidneys, which requires hormone treatment. The most commonly used hormone is prednisone.
When the immune system in children is disturbed, a lot of antibodies and immune complexes are produced against themselves. These antibodies and immune complexes will deposit in the kidneys and attack the kidneys, resulting in increased permeability of the kidney filtration membrane. From here, protein loss will form nephrotic syndrome.
Although this disease is an inflammation of the kidneys, this inflammation is a sterile inflammation. Antibiotics such as anti-inflammatory drugs are ineffective, and only hormones can be used to treat it. The most commonly used hormone is prednisone.
For children, the urine protein may turn negative within 2 months of treatment, and the next 9 months, the patient will recover.
