How long does it take for baby jaundice to recede?

Physiological jaundice usually appears within two or three days of birth and resolves on its own in about seven to ten days. Pathological jaundice can appear within twenty-four hours of birth and can persist for weeks without treatment. However, it resolves after about a week with blue light treatment.
