Alternative nasal congestion is rhinitis or nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Alternate nasal congestion is a symptom of rhinitis, referring to nasal congestion in one nostril. After changing positions, nasal congestion in the other nostril is always only one nostril. This condition is usually caused by chronic hypertrophic rhinitis. It is generally not nasopharyngeal carcinoma. It can be treated topically with mometasone furoate spray.
