What does syphilis negative (-) mean?

Syphilis test is negative, indicating that there is no treponema pallidum infection, it is recommended to check again after 2-3 weeks, or when there are clinical symptoms to do a check, if the test is negative, indicating normal. If it is positive, need to do further examination, only diagnosed with syphilis.
