Knee joint effusion may be caused by synovitis. Abnormal synovial function will lead to abnormal absorption and generation of joint fluid, which will lead to knee swelling. The patient can be treated with local braking and oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs. If there is more effusion, effusion can be extracted through knee puncture.
