Do cats suddenly get pneumonia?

Pneumonia does not occur if the cat is healthy, but may occur if it carries pathogens. Pneumonia is often caused by bacterial and viral infections and should be admitted for blood tests and C-reactive protein tests. If bacterial pneumonia is diagnosed, antibiotics should be prescribed.
