I'm allergic to formaldehyde.

Formaldehyde can cause urticaria. Patients may develop skin itching and wheals. Admit to hospital for treatment with oral antihistamines and topical hormone ointment. If urticaria is prone to recurrent attacks, carry antihistamines with you for prevention.
