What color is tuberculosis?

CT images are gray scale from black to white to reflect different pathological changes. Pathological changes of pulmonary tuberculosis include exudative changes, proliferative changes and caseous necrosis. After treatment, the lesions may remain fibrosis and scar. All these changes appear as high density shadow under the pulmonary window, that is, white, but different density in the mediastinal window. Calcification density is the highest, showing white similar to bone density. Other pathological changes show similar density to muscle. CT diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis should not only be based on this density change, but also combined with the location, distribution, shape, whether there are pleomorphic lesions and other signs.
