Headache may not be a symptom of COVID-19 infection. After COVID-19 infection, fever, dry cough and fatigue are the main manifestations, and a few patients are accompanied by nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pain and diarrhea. Severe patients often show dyspnea or hypoxemia one week after onset. Severe patients can progress rapidly to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, metabolic acidosis that is difficult to correct, coagulation disorders, and multiple organ failure. Some children may show atypical symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhea, mental weakness, shortness of breath, etc. Mild patients may only show low fever, mild fatigue, etc. without pneumonia.
