Chickenpox is caused by chickenpox virus infection. The incubation period of chickenpox is usually two weeks. Chickenpox rash usually starts on the face and behind the ears, and then spreads to the body and limbs. The number of chickenpox rashes is usually higher in the first two days, and gradually decreases after the third and fourth days. However, chickenpox usually takes seven to ten days to recover.
