Cancer fever patterns

Cancer fever is usually characterized by persistent low or moderate fever, which is often different from fever caused by ordinary infections.

Cancer fever may be caused by the absorption of inflammatory or necrotic substances released by the tumor itself, or by a decrease in immunity caused by the tumor.
