Liver echo thickening, liver function normal. What's going on?

Healing with compassion, caring with purpose.
Liver echo thickening Normal liver function may be related to viral hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, liver fibrosis and other factors.
1. Viral hepatitis
Viral hepatitis is usually caused by various hepatitis virus infections, which can cause changes in liver structure, and then liver echo thickening. When the disease is mild or in the early stage of the disease, it generally does not affect liver function.
2. Alcoholic hepatitis
Alcoholic hepatitis is usually caused by long-term drinking, which may stimulate and damage liver tissue, leading to liver echo thickening, and early liver function may be normal.
3. Liver fibrosis
Liver fibrosis refers to the process of liver fibrous tissue proliferation, which may be caused by chronic liver damage due to various reasons. Early liver function may not be affected, but ultrasound examination may observe changes in liver echo.
