What is cervical erosion caused by pregnancy

During pregnancy, the increase of estrogen level in female body will lead to the stimulation of cervical columnar epithelium, resulting in granular erosion change of cervical epithelium. Simple cervical erosion is physiological change, which does not need treatment. If accompanied by abnormal leucorrhea, it may be caused by cervicitis and needs symptomatic treatment.
