What causes morning hiccups?

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Morning hiccups may be caused by cold environment, indigestion, gastritis and other factors. The relevant explanations are as follows:
1. If the environment is cold
, if you don't take warm measures during sleep, it will lead to cold environment, inhalation of excessive cold air, leading to local blood vessels, muscle contraction, spasm, resulting in hiccups.
2. Indigestion
If you eat too much the night before, or eat gas in your diet, and eat spicy foods and drinks such as pepper and alcohol, it can cause indigestion and stimulate the diaphragm, thus causing morning hiccups.
3. Gastritis
slows down gastric emptying, and food constantly produces pressure on the stomach wall, which is easy to cause hiccups in the morning.
