Guiding you towards a healthier tomorrow.
Cholecystitis can be diagnosed by clinical manifestations, physical examination, imaging examination, etc.
1. Clinical manifestations
If the patient has sudden severe colic in the right upper abdomen after every full meal or eating greasy food, it can be highly suggestive of cholecystitis.
2. Physical examination
When physical examination is performed, if the doctor presses the junction between the outer edge of rectus abdominis muscle and the rib edge, the patient has pain when inhaling and stops inhaling. Combined with the above manifestations, it can be preliminarily judged as cholecystitis.
3. Imaging examination If the
patient has imaging examination, it is found that the gallbladder volume increases, the gallbladder wall thickens, and the bilateral signs are obvious. Combined with the above examinations, it can be diagnosed as cholecystitis.
