How to treat nasal hypertrophy

The treatment of patients with enlarged turbinates depends on the severity of the condition. If the patient has only nasal congestion and runny nose, it can be treated with vasodilators. For severe patients, surgery to remove the enlarged turbinate tissue should be considered.
