What causes esophageal reflux?

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Esophageal acid reflux may be related to decreased esophageal motility, excessive acid secretion, gastroesophageal sphincter relaxation and other factors.
1. Esophageal motility
can be weakened by esophageal motility to push food into the stomach and inhibit acid reflux. If esophageal motility is weakened, it may increase the risk of acid reflux, resulting in acid reflux.
2. Excessive acid secretion
If acid secretion exceeds the normal range, it will also increase the possibility of reflux to the esophagus, resulting in acid reflux symptoms.
3. Gastroesophageal sphincter relaxation
If gastroesophageal sphincter relaxation occurs, there may be incomplete closure of the esophageal inlet, making it easy for acid to enter the esophagus through the inlet reflux, resulting in acid reflux.
