Local complications of acute pancreatitis

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
The local complications of acute pancreatitis usually include peripancreatitis, concomitant peritonitis, pancreatic pseudocyst, etc.
1. Patients with peripancreatitis
may cause inflammation of the surrounding tissues of the pancreas when suffering from acute pancreatitis, which may cause severe upper abdominal pain, vomiting, abdominal distension and other symptoms.
2. Concomitant peritonitis If the
patient with acute pancreatitis is milder, the inflammatory reaction will spread to the peritoneum, which will be stimulated and easily cause concomitant peritonitis.
3. Pancreatic pseudocyst
After acute pancreatitis occurs, necrotic tissues around the pancreas may form fluid accumulation and form pancreatic pseudocyst.
