Is adult stool leucocyte tall bacterial enteritis

Your health is my mission.
High stool white blood cells in adults may be a sign of bacterial enteritis, but it is not the only indicator and is not a definitive diagnosis.
When the gut is infected by bacteria, the body's immune system releases inflammatory mediators, such as cytokines and chemokines, to attract white blood cells to the infected site. White blood cells are an important component of the immune system, which engulfs and kills bacteria while releasing chemicals to fight infection. Therefore, in bacterial enteritis, white blood cells accumulate in large numbers in the gut, resulting in an increase in the number of white blood cells in the stool. However, it should be noted that in addition to bacterial enteritis, other inflammatory bowel diseases, viral infections or parasitic infections may also cause leukocytosis. Therefore, for leukocytosis, it is recommended to perform relevant examinations and evaluations to determine the specific cause and receive appropriate treatment.
