Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis

Generally speaking, cervical spondylosis can be treated by acupuncture at Dazhui, Fengchi and Tianzong.

1. Dazhui

is located at the back of the neck, belonging to the Du Meridian. Acupuncture at this point can relieve muscle spasms in the neck, relax muscles and relieve pain caused by cervical spondylosis.

2. Fengchi

is located in the neck, below the occipital bone, belonging to the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian. Acupuncture at this point can also help relieve neck pain and other symptoms.

3. Tianzong is

located in the scapula, belonging to the Hand Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian. It has the effect of promoting qi, widening chest, relaxing muscles and activating collaterals.
