Stomach cold or stomach heat can be judged by symptoms, tongue coating, complexion, etc.
1. If the symptoms
are stomach cold, they often manifest as stomachache, diarrhea, fear of cold, vomiting acid water, fatigue, etc. The clinical symptoms of stomach heat often include stomach burning, acid reflux, heartburn, cold drinks, dry mouth and bad breath, constipation, etc.
2. Tongue coating
can also be judged by observing the patient's tongue coating. The tongue coating of patients with stomach cold is mostly white and moist, while the tongue coating of patients with stomach heat is mostly yellow and dry.
3. The complexion
can also be judged by observing the patient's complexion. If the patient's complexion is pale and cold, it is stomach cold. If the patient's complexion is red and afraid of heat, it is stomach heat.
