Breast cystic nodules 4 and above are relatively serious.

1. The classification of breast cystic nodules is through imaging examination.(Such as breast ultrasound, molybdenum target, etc.) to assess the possibility of malignancy. Generally divided into 0 to 6 grades. Grade 1 means negative, basically can rule out malignant lesions. Grade 2 means benign lesions, malignant possibility is very low. Grade 3 means benign possibility, but there are still very few may be malignant, need regular review. Grade 4 is an important watershed because it is divided into three sub-grades 4a, 4b and 4c. 4a indicates low suspected malignancy, which may range from 2% to 10%. 4b indicates moderate suspected malignancy, which may range from 10% to 50%. 4c indicates highly suspected malignancy, with a likelihood of malignancy between 50% and 95%. Grade 5 indicates highly suggestive malignancy, with a likelihood of malignancy greater than 95%. Grade 6 indicates malignancy has been pathologically /confirm/ied.

Therefore, when breast cystic nodules reach grade 4 or above, more active diagnostic measures need to be taken, such as puncture biopsy, to clarify the nature of the nodule. If malignant is diagnosed, corresponding treatment needs to be carried out in time, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatment options to improve the cure rate and survival rate. At the same time, for breast cystic nodules of grade 3 and below, regular review and follow-up are also needed to detect possible changes in time.
