What is a hard lump with a bump in the cervix?

Guiding you towards wellness.
Cervical
polyps are one of the more common causes. Cervical polyps are usually local hyperplasia caused by chronic inflammation and long-term stimulation. They are manifested as vegetations protruding from the cervical orifice. The texture is soft and there may be contact bleeding.
2. Cervical fibroids
If fibroids grow in the cervix, they may form a hard mass. It may cause menstrual changes, abdominal distension and other symptoms.
3. Malignant lesions of cervical cancer
cannot be ruled out. Early cervical cancer may be manifested as a local hard mass of the cervix, often accompanied by abnormal vaginal bleeding, discharge and other symptoms. As the disease progresses, the symptoms will gradually worsen. When a
hard lump is found in the cervix, it should be promptly treated for detailed gynecological examination, cervical cytology, HPV detection, colposcopy and even tissue biopsy to clarify the nature of the hard lump so as to take targeted treatment measures. Do not treat or delay the disease by yourself, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
