Will the sty heal itself?

Sties may self-heal, but not in all cases. Sties

are an acute suppurative inflammatory lesion of the eyelid glands, often showing symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, and pain. In the early stages of the disease, some patients can control the condition with hot compress, topical antibiotic eye drops, or eye ointment, and the sty gradually subsides and self-cures.
