Is it difficult to recover from secondary fractures

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Second fracture is indeed difficult to recover.
After the first fracture, the bone has undergone a process of injury and repair, and its own repair ability will decrease. When the fracture is broken again, the local blood supply and osteoblasts may not be as good as the initial fracture, affecting the formation and healing speed of new bone. Second fracture is often more prone to comminuted and complex fractures, and the alignment of the fracture ends may be more difficult to maintain, increasing the difficulty of treatment and the uncertainty of recovery. If a second fracture occurs, the patient is at increased risk of complications such as nonunion, delayed union, infection, etc. These complications can further hinder recovery from the fracture, prolong recovery time, and may even lead to more serious consequences.
