Is dry eye the same as dry eye?

Dry eye and dry eye are not exactly the same. There are some differences between them.

Dry eye is mainly caused by insufficient tear secretion or rapid evaporation of tears, such as dry eyes, foreign body sensation, etc. This condition may be related to prolonged use of electronic devices, environmental factors or tear gland damage. Dry eye is a more complex disease, which includes not only dry eye symptoms, but also may be accompanied by other symptoms such as pain, itching, light allergy, etc. Dry eye disease usually involves chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases of the lacrimal and salivary glands and may be related to infection, endocrine, genetic and other factors.
