Spinal cord tumor is cancer?

Passionate about making a difference.
Spinal cord tumors are not necessarily cancer.
Spinal cord tumors are a general term for tumors that grow in the spinal cord and can be divided into benign tumors and malignant tumors. Benign tumors usually grow slowly and do not invade surrounding tissues or metastasize to distant sites, while malignant tumors are aggressive and may invade surrounding tissues or metastasize to distant sites. Cancer is usually referred to as malignant tumors, but spinal cord tumors are not all malignant tumors, so it cannot be simply said that spinal cord tumors are cancer.
If spinal cord tumors are detected on examination, further detailed examination and evaluation are recommended to determine the nature of the tumor and treatment options.
