What is stomach polyps?

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
Gastric polyps are gastric polyps, which may be related to chronic gastritis, long-term medication, bile reflux and other reasons.
1. Chronic gastritis
Helicobacter pylori infection is the most common cause of chronic gastritis. The gastric mucosa of patients with chronic gastritis is stimulated by inflammation for a long time, which may lead to excessive proliferation of mucosal epithelial cells and induce the formation of gastric polyps.
2. Long-term use of
drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion, such as proton pump inhibitors, can lead to low gastric acid state in the human body, accompanied by gastrinemia. Gastrin can stimulate epithelial cells and induce the growth of gastric polyps.
3. Bile reflux
Bile reflux can destroy the acidic environment in the stomach and induce inflammatory reactions, inducing gastric polyps.
