How to test for myopia

The test methods of myopia include vision examination, mydriatic refraction, refractive examination, etc.

1. Vision examination

is the main method of myopia examination, which can easily and quickly distinguish suspected myopia patients from normal people.

2. Mydriatic refraction

For initial refraction, or suspected myopia patients, mydriatic refraction can also be performed, i.e. cycloplegia refraction, which can be used to diagnose myopia.

3. Refractive

examination is applicable to all myopia patients, and is an indispensable step of myopia examination. Refractive examination can show the degree of the patient and make a clear diagnosis.
