How to treat anisometropia

Anisometropia can be relieved by masking therapy, wearing glasses, surgery, etc.

1. masking therapy

If the patient has amblyopia problems, it can be treated by dominant eye masking method, which can improve the vision of the affected eye and rebuild visual function.

2. wearing glasses

Mild and moderate anisometropia need optometry, and wear appropriate glasses or corneal contact lenses, so as to correct vision and improve visual fatigue.

3. surgical treatment

If the patient is over 18 years old and the degree of ametropia is relatively stable, the vision can be improved by excimer laser keratectomy.
