What is orbital inflammatory pseudotumor?

Orbital inflammatory pseudotumor is an inflammatory disease that occurs in the orbit. It is generally called orbital inflammatory pseudotumor because its appearance is similar to that of tumor.

The etiology of orbital inflammatory pseudotumor is not completely clear, and it is generally believed that it is related to abnormal immune function. The patient is stimulated by various adverse factors to cause inflammatory changes in the orbit, and then to form tumor-like lesions, i.e. orbital inflammatory pseudotumor.
