Disuse strabismus can be corrected.

Disuse strabismus is caused by long-term use of one eye, resulting in decreased vision or stop development of the other eye, mainly due to corneal leukoplakia, congenital cataracts and other diseases. Disuse strabismus generally cannot be corrected by itself, but can be corrected by refractive error correction, surgery, visual function training, etc. Surgery is the main treatment method, by changing the position of the extraocular muscles, adjusting the eye position, so that strabismus returns to normal. once the patient finds strabismus, should go to hospital as soon as possible, lest miss optimal treatment time.
